Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of karshipta.com, the hosted service operated by NIKX Technologies B.V. ("NIKX", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. They do not apply to the open-source Karshipta console or gateway when self-hosted on your own infrastructure - that software is governed solely by its AGPL-3.0 license.

The service

karshipta.com hosts a live map and console for connecting, monitoring, and commanding ward fleets (drones and other unmanned vehicles) over MAVLink, and other tracked entities via Herald. It is simulation-first and not certified for real flight operations. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable aviation and drone regulations in your jurisdiction when connecting a real ward.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your gateway pairing codes and credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to operate a ward unlawfully, to endanger people or property, to interfere with the service's infrastructure, or to attempt to access another account's fleet data without authorization.

Public map and your data

By default, wards you connect are shown in sanitized form (delayed, coordinate-decimated, no home position) on the public map so the platform stays useful to the wider community. The Private Fleet add-on removes your wards from the public feed entirely, account-wide. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on our Pricing page. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NIKX Technologies B.V. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including damage caused by a ward you operate through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders directly.
