Karshipta Desktop
Gateway pairing helper - not the console, not a replacement for karshipta.com
This is not the console - the live map, fleet management, and everything else you use day to day already runs in your browser at karshipta.com. Karshipta Desktop is a small app with one job: it runs quietly in the background on the machine sitting next to your gateway, and keeps a real ward's telemetry flowing to your account. Once it's paired, you can close this app's window and forget about it.
How it works
- 1 On the map, open the Connect tab in the left rail and click + Add gateway to get an activation code.
- 2 Download and install Karshipta Desktop for your platform below, then open it.
- 3 Enter the activation code. From then on, the app runs in the background and your ward's telemetry shows up on the map automatically.
Version v0.1.1. Code signing (Apple notarization and Windows Authenticode) is in progress and will take some time to complete - it doesn't block using the app today. Each platform below has a one-time step to get past your OS's warning for an unsigned build.
macOS

- 1 Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Karshipta Desktop into Applications.
- 2 This build isn't notarized yet, so Gatekeeper will refuse to open it and offer to move it to the Trash instead - right-click / Open does not override this particular dialog. Run this in Terminal, then open the app normally:
xattr -cr "/Applications/Karshipta Desktop.app" - 3 Enter your activation code when prompted - see step 1 above if you don't have one yet.
Windows
